Rebuilt To Scale was developed in Autodesk Maya, rendered with Maya &amp; VRay, and composited with Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. I created all aspects of the project from start to finish.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Rebuilt To Scale was well received by online communities. Soon after its initial completion in early 2019, I was invited to do a short scene based on Rebuilt To Scale for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Pk0SjQSAb_8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rhythm Heaven Reanimated<\/a> collaborative project, which released in 2020. When released on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newgrounds.com\/portal\/view\/745114\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Newgrounds,<\/a> it earned a feature on the front page and was the 9th highest voted video of its release day.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/twitch.tv\/SuperSparkplug\">Online Broadcasting<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.twitch.tv\/?video=1020944627&amp;!autoplay&amp;parent=grindspark.com\" width=\"620\" height=\"378\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I am well versed in online streaming technologies and have engaged in a variety of diverse online programming initiatives for both myself and other clients.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">In 2015, I was contracted by major Canadian TV Station <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/tsn.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TSN &#8211; The Sports Network<\/a><\/strong> to develop their infrastructure for online broadcasting and training their staff to livestream on <a href=\"http:\/\/twitch.tv\/tsn\">Twitch<\/a>. I accomplished this, trained their staff, as well as wrote their broadcasting guide in 2 days.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"> In 2020, I began streaming myself on my <a href=\"http:\/\/twitch.tv\/SuperSparkplug\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>SuperSparkplug<\/strong><\/a> channel, starting with several Charity Streams that raised a few hundred dollars in COVID-19 Relief for UHN Hospitals. Since then, I&#8217;ve pushed my production skills to create a diverse range of unique <a href=\"https:\/\/imgur.com\/a\/ENFQvBW\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gaming, Art, and Charity live streams<\/a>. My streaming skills have not only led me to train other people and organizations how to use of online broadcasting technologies, but greatly improved my ability to teach classes online, such as when I taught for Humber College. I further enhance my broadcast productions with my video production, animation, and graphic design skills. I&#8217;ve also partnered with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www2.torontocomics.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Toronto Comic Arts Festival<\/a> to produce and direct my <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ShiningSparkEnt.com\/spark-comic-jam\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Spark Comic Jam<\/a><\/strong> in 2020 &amp; 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>After joining the Hand Eye Society as its Director of Technology in 2020<\/strong>, I spearheaded our new online programming strategy to engage our community during the COVID-19 Pandemic. This included regular Hand Eye Hangouts, as well as making a live Twitch Show alongside our many festivals featuring Guest Speakers from around the world. As a result, I became the Co-Founder, Co-Producer, Production Coordinator, Technical Director, and regular Host of several Hand Eye Society broadcasting shows such as Comics X Games, Super FESTival, Wordplay, and more. This was a successful part of my strategy to transition several of our events into digital platforms. As such, this video was designed to adhere to Nintendo&#8217;s default marketing guidelines for Wii U products. This short fan-advert\/trailer makes note of game&#8217;s humor and pulse-pounding action while inspiring viewers to &#8220;Be a Hero&#8221;.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I developed this short in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, with the footage captured by my Elgato Game Capture HD. I performed the voiceover, which I recorded and mixed in Logic Pro X. The Wii U Console &amp; Gamepad are original 3D models of the Game Console I designed and rendered in Autodesk Maya.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\"><a style=\"color: #000000; text-decoration: underline;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=NbXIBu-AXpA\">Sp\/\/dr Vs Mysterio (Sound Design)<\/a><\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class='youtube-player' type='text\/html' width='640' height='360' src='https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/NbXIBu-AXpA?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;fs=1&#038;autohide=2&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;wmode=transparent' allowfullscreen='true' style='border:0;'><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">In 2019, Japanese Animator Ryusuke Furuya created an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=CidccZPloes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">original Animation<\/a> of SP\/\/dr, a Marvel Comics character that&#8217;s a female alternate universe version of Spider-Man. However, the animation was completely silent. For fun, I<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"> decided to correct this one day and added sound design to his animation using my own sound effect archives. This added touch helps make the reality of Furuya&#8217;s fantastic animations come alive.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h1><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Claudette McGowan Animation<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/639662229?title=0&amp;amp;byline=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\"><\/iframe><\/h1>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">In 2021, I was approached and commissioned by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ictc-ctic.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICTC<\/a> to create an animated short about the life of accomplished Black Canadian trailblazer Claudette McGowan. I worked with my client to plan, storyboard, and animate the project based on a provided script.<\/span><\/p>\n<h1><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>CIM2 Research Documentation Videos<\/strong><\/span><\/h1>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/177831286\" width=\"400\" height=\"225\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">As a student, I was the Multimedia Research Assistant for Ryerson University&#8217;s CIM2 and RML Multimedia Research Labs from 2010 &#8211; 2015. I scripted, directed, filmed, and edited all documentation videos for their computer engineering research projects by graduate students under Dr. Ling Guan. I directly coordinated and consulted with graduate students, researchers, and University staff to ensure all videos accurately portrayed the function of each project. Videos created for the laboratories were shown at technology conferences, Ryerson University faculty, and business partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">I also contributed graphic models and 3D assets to the laboratory&#8217;s projects and developed short interactive features.
